Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light mechanical repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will work under supervision, advancing diagnostic skills and maintaining safety standards.

This role requires HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, valid driver's license, and the ability to manage parts and documentation using TRAIT/iOS tools. A new hire bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3 years in related field.
• Own a set of hand tools to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings.
• Manage parts inventory and vehicle safety checks.
• Complete DOT forms accurately and timely.
