Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance in a mobile environment. You will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems and document results using TRAIT on company devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related experience or 5 years related field experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 certification within eighteen (18) months.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment background and DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT Inspections and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems on trucks.
• Document all work and parts used on RO via TRAIT app on an iOS device.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
