Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States provides on-site mobile fleet maintenance and repair services with 24/7 support across nationwide centers. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and routine repairs in mobile environments.

You will diagnose, repair, and test diesel systems and maintain service truck readiness while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Valid DOT medical card / pass DOT physical.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain Driver Qualification File.
• Ability to lift and perform moderately heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and drivetrain systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to confirm repairs and performance.
• Manage parts inventory and document RO using company iOS tools.
• Coordinate estimates and approvals with management.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies.
