Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on a mobile fleet. You will diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, while managing parts and documenting findings on RO via TRAIT app.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a flexible shift and the possibility to work remotely while residing in the specified city/region.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and related systems on trucks.
• Document all work and parts used on Repair Orders using TRAIT app on an iOS device.
• Maintain and operate company-issued service vehicle, conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
