Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment.

The role requires diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems, maintaining safety checks, and using TRAIT to document work. 100% travel with a variable shift; remote option available in specified regions.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and PMs for trucks and trailers.
• Strong diagnostic skills for diesel equipment and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret DOT forms and repair orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and light/moderate repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Document work using TRAIT app and upload RO photos.
• Maintain safety checks and pre/post-trip inspections.
