Job summary

Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field environment. The technician will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, manage parts on a company service truck, and document findings using the TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and PM on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and diesel systems on trucks.
• Document work performed, parts used, and findings using Repair Orders in TRAIT on an iOS device.
• Maintain and operate the service vehicle, conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Interact with clients to assess needs and provide information or assistance.
