Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II in the United States. This role involves performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy repairs on a mobile/field fleet, with a requirement to maintain a high standard of safety and diagnostics.

The position offers a flexible remote-work option with a daytime shift, often requiring travel. The ideal candidate will have ASE T8 certification, a HS diploma, and 3+ years in related fields, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• DOT regulations understanding and safety compliance.
• Ability to perform PM inspections and basic repairs.
• Ability to operate tools and diagnostic equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems as needed.
• Document work and upload RO details using company tools.
