Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II in the United States. The role involves performing licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to work remotely while residing in the local city/region. Weekly pay and industry-leading benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years of related field experience, with a focus on refrigerated equipment.
• ASE/T8/T2–T7 certifications preferred or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems, engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Document work, upload RO photos, and maintain records using company devices.
