Cox Automotive - USA, via CoxFleet, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will handle diagnostics, parts management, and safety compliance while maintaining service documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related discipline preferred.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months or equivalent.
• Must possess and provide a set of hand tools to perform duties.
• Candidate must meet DOT/FMCSA regulatory requirements.
• Legal ability to operate a vehicle and pass DOT medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy vehicles in field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain service truck responsibilities.
• Document work and upload findings using company-provided tools.
