Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on mobile fleets across the country. You will diagnose diverse mechanical and electrical systems and maintain the company service truck and tools.

Responsibilities include road testing, documenting repairs, and complying with DOT/FMCSA regulations. A valid driver’s license and safety-conscious mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, steering, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
