Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to service light, medium and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites nationwide. You will perform PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs, plus complex diagnostics under supervision.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, DOT compliance, and the ability to manage parts and schedule in a mobile environment. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years in a related field or equivalent.
• Must own hand tools required to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background check and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and mechanical systems.
• Road test and verify vehicle performance after service.
