Job summary

Fleet Services By Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs and light repairs in a field/mobile setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on trucks, document findings, and coordinate with customers to complete repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulated pre-employment background check and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Maintain safety checks, inspect and road-test vehicles as needed.
• Document work and upload RO details using TRAIT app.
