Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and service electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems while maintaining service documentation and inventory.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a valid DOT medical card, and effective communication with customers and coworkers. Competitive weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environments.
• Heavy labor capable with long periods of standing, walking, lifting and bending.
• Strong documentation skills using RO forms and the TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance and DOT Inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting.
• Carry out repairs and diagnostics including electrical, hydraulic, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Maintain inventory, obtain parts from vendors, and document work performed in the Repair Order system.
• Communicate with customers and management to coordinate service and approvals.
