Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field setting.

Shift: Friday to Monday, 8am–4pm; $4,000 new hire bonus with staged payouts; weekly pay and comprehensive benefits offered by Cox Automotive.

Requirements include HS Diploma, ASE T8 PMI within 18 months, DOT medical card or ability to obtain, and valid driver’s license; accountabilities include safety and compliance with DOT regs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience or equivalent.
• ASE T8 PMI certification to be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background check and medical/DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Manage parts and document work via company tools and RO forms.
• Maintain safe driving and operate company vehicle per policy.
