Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and work under supervision to develop advanced skills.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid DOT compliance background. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of related field experience, or equivalent combination.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must possess hand tools to perform required duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain safety, complete DOT forms, and manage parts on company service truck.
