Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair and test various diesel systems, manage parts and service trucks, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have HS Diploma or GED with 3+ years in related field, ASE T8 within 18 months, and valid DOT credentials.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test and document findings on Repair Orders using company iOS devices and TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and operate company service vehicle with safety checks and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with customers and management to obtain approvals and schedule work.
