Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles in a field setting. You’ll operate a company-owned service truck, manage parts, and document work using the TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Up to 2 years’ related field experience preferred.
DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance awareness and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
Conduct diagnostics and repairs across electrical, brake, cooling, engine, transmissions and related systems.
Manage parts inventory and use company-issued service truck equipment with periodic reconciliation.
