Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading on-site mobile maintenance provider, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician I in a field/mobile environment. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on various trucks and trailers, while maintaining tools, parts, and service truck readiness.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation via the TRAIT app, and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• DOT inspections and preventive maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to perform light, medium and heavy-duty vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Manage parts inventory and company-issued service truck equipment.
• Document work and attach RO photos using iOS TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain accurate records.
• Work independently and manage daily schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
