Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance in a mobile/field setting across the United States. You will complete light repairs, manage parts and document services via company tools, while maintaining safety standards and scheduling your daily workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED up to 2 years’ related experience.
• Must supply hand tools needed to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification preferred; ASE T4 (Brakes) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment (electrical, braking, cooling, engine, transmissions, etc.).
• Independently manage parts inventory and company-issued service truck; conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
