Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work under supervision and progressively take on more advanced tasks while staying aligned with company safety policies.

You will manage parts, document work using an iOS device and TRAIT app, and coordinate with management for approvals and RO findings.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM inspections are required.
• Ability to perform light, medium and heavy-duty repairs.
• Ability to manage parts inventory and use company-provided tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Carry out minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment including electrical, braking and engine systems.
• Maintain and operate company vehicle, conduct safety checks, and pre/post-trip inspections.
