Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. Responsibilities include managing parts, maintaining the service truck, and documenting work using the TRAIT app.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, at least 1 year welding experience, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include weekly pay, safety gear reimbursement, uniforms, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience preferred.
• Welding experience required; ASE certifications preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment screening and DOT physical may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Perform minor adjustments/repairs on truck equipment (electrical, braking, cooling, engine, transmissions).
• Maintain service vehicle and manage parts inventory; document RO using company iOS app.
