Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics for fleet vehicles in a field/mobile setting. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems while maintaining documentation in our TRAIT system.

The role requires DOT compliance, a valid license, and the ability to manage parts and schedule independently in a dynamic service environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in a related field.
• 5 years of related field experience as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document findings and parts used in RO via company TRAIT app.
• Adhere to safety, DOT, EPA and OSHA regulations.
