Cox Fleet is a leading mobile fleet maintenance provider with nationwide service centers and 24/7 support. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, a toolset, and adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations. ASE certifications and DOT medical considerations are valued, with comprehensive safety training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Own set of hand tools for job duties.
• AES/T8 certification or DOT/FMCSA training preferred.
• Must complete DOT background screening and DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on light, medium & heavy vehicles.
• Conduct minor repairs and diagnostics in mobile/field environment.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck supplies.
• Complete documentation and photos in RO using TRAIT on iOS.
• Follow safety, health and environmental regulations.
