Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will operate a company service truck and work closely with management to meet safety and performance standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a tool set, and DOT regulatory compliance. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance within the Cox Fleet network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 0–2 years in related field.
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge; DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on vehicles in field.
• Repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck.
• Document work and upload RO details using TRAIT app.
• Follow safety policies and DOT regulations.
