Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs at customer sites. You will work in a mobile/field environment and must maintain our service truck while documenting work with the TRAIT app.

Excellent communication and safety compliance are essential as you interact with customers and teammates. ASE certifications are preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ related experience.
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Carry out repairs and diagnose electrical, braking and cooling systems.
• Maintain and operate company service truck and conduct daily safety checks.
• Document work using the TRAIT app and upload RO photos.
