Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light to heavy vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will conduct post-trip safety checks, manage parts, and document repairs using a company iOS device and TRAIT app.

The role offers a 3pm-1am shift Sunday to Thursday, with a $3,500 new hire bonus paid in two installments. Remote work is possible within the specified region where the position is located.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light repairs in mobile/field environments.
• Maintain safety compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations.
• Independently manage parts inventory and document repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Carry out minor repairs on electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document work orders, parts used, and findings using TRAIT app on iOS device.
