Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic work in a mobile/field setting. You will handle electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs, and document findings via the TRAIT app, while maintaining safety policies.

We value experience with DOT/PM, hands-on tooling, and strong communication to coordinate with clients and management. Weekly pay, safety gear, and career training are among the perks.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM experience in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair diverse truck components.
• Able to work independently with safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections in mobile/field environment.
• Repair and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test drive to verify fixes and adjust as needed.
• Manage parts and tools on service vehicle and document RO in TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with management for repair approvals and estimates.
