Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will work Monday to Friday with variable shifts and possible weekend coverage, in customers' fleets.

The role involves diagnosing electrical, braking, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and related components; maintaining the service truck and inventory; and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety

Qualifications

• Experience performing DOT inspections and PM on medium to heavy vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and engine systems in a mobile setting.
• Strong safety and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test and verify repairs, maintain service truck inventory.
