Zusammenfassung

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, engine, and hydraulic systems while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will manage parts, document work via an iOS device and TRAIT app, and communicate with customers and management. Strong diagnostic skills and ASE T8 or willingness to obtain are required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience; alternative combos allowed (HS with more experience or higher degree).
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification must be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory requirements and background screening prerequisites.
• Candidate must be 21+ and hold a valid state driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation and safety.
• Manage parts inventory and use company-provided tools and apps for documentation.
• Communicate repair estimates and obtain approvals; maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
