Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and various mechanical diagnostics for a mobile/field fleet. You will handle light through heavy-duty vehicle repairs, manage tools and parts, and maintain documentation for service orders using a company iOS device and TRAIT app.

The role requires HS diploma or GED with related field experience, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus relevant field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations background check and DOT physical required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on mobile/field fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment; document work in RO using TRAIT app.
