Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to mid-level repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, and ensure documentation is completed accurately in TRAIT and on RO forms.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience, or 5 years in related work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field or 5 years’ experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and document work performed on Repair Orders using company devices and TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck, manage parts inventory, and communicate with management for approvals.
