Cox Fleet in New Orleans, LA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic II to perform DOT inspections, PM services, and light to intermediate repairs on a mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and engine systems, document findings, and maintain the service truck and inventory while coordinating with customers and supervisors.

You must have a HS diploma or GED, tool set, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and DOT/physical compliance.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience.
• Possess a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, diesel engine, and transmission systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck; document RO using TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain compliance with safety policies.
