Job summary

Cox Fleet is a leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services for fleets nationwide, including 50+ service centers. We are seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform PMs, DOT inspections, and light-to-mid repairs in a mobile environment, with growth into advanced diagnostics under supervision.

The role requires ASE T8 within 18 months, DOT screening, and a valid driver’s license, with strong safety and customer service focus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field, or 5 years in related field.
• Must possess own hand tools for job duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification required within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screen and DOT physical required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation after service.
• Manage parts on service truck and document work performed with RO in TRAIT app.
