Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and service electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems and manage parts on a company truck.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED plus related experience; ASE T8 certification is preferred and must be obtained within 18 months. Remote work options are available for candidates within designated regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years’ related experience; alternative combinations accepted.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Operate and maintain company service vehicle and document work using iOS and TRAIT app.
