Job summary
Cox Fleet in the United States is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, routine PMs, and complex repairs in a mobile/field setting. The role emphasizes diagnostics and on-site customer support, with leadership on jobsites and independent scheduling.
The position requires a valid DOT/driver license, 3+ years in related field, and adherence to safety standards. A $3000 new hire bonus and weekly pay are offered, with a Saturday-Wednesday schedule and remote-live
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience with refrigerated equipment.
- DOT regulations knowledge and valid driver's license required.
- Complete DOT medical and background checks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform DOT inspections, PMs and repairs on light to heavy vehicles.
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and electronic systems.
- Road test vehicles and document findings on RO using TRAIT app.
- Manage parts inventory and maintain service truck and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations.
