Job summary

Cox Automotive's Cox Fleet division seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on a range of trucks in a mobile setting. You will diagnose, repair, and test vehicle systems, manage parts on a service truck, and document findings with our TRAIT app.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer service while supporting on-site and remote coordination. Flexible hours and field travel apply.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PMs on light/med/heavy trucks.
• Diagnostic and repair work in a mobile/field environment.
• Must manage parts and document work with RO in TRAIT app.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), DOT Inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling systems and other truck components.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, engine and transmission systems using test instruments.
