Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II (DOT) to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting. Based in a role that supports nationwide service, you will work Thursday through Monday 12 PM–8:30 PM, must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements, and maintain vehicle safety, tools, and documentation on RO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 3 years in related field preferred.
• Valid DOT regulations knowledge and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, fuel, cooling, braking, and engine systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation.
