Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light-to-mid repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, perform road tests, and document findings using the TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid Class C license. Weekly pay and strong career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field or 5 years experience acceptable.
• Valid Class C driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT credentials.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles and document findings in RO using TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck supplies; issue purchase orders as needed.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain safety standards per policy.
