Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work 100% on-site at Cox locations, with supervision from higher-level technicians as you learn advanced skills.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, your own hand tools, and DOT safety compliance. ASE T8 is preferred, and ASE T4 is an asset for career growth.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM inspections required.
• Able to perform light repairs and diagnostics in mobile/field environment.
• Must possess own set of hand tools and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy vehicles in the field.
• Execute minor repairs and assist more senior technicians as needed.
• Maintain and operate service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and document work performed.
