The Mobile Diesel Technician I role involves performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile environment, with opportunities to advance to higher technician levels as skills grow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Own a set of hand tools required to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on light/medium/heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems including electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and drivetrain components.
• Independently manage parts inventory and operate company‑issued service truck.
• Document work and upload RO using TRAIT app on iOS device.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
