Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment, supporting a broad range of trucks and trailers. You will work with a team to ensure safety standards and high-quality service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, tool set, and DOT compliance. ASE T8 within 18 months is required; ASE T4 is preferred. Company offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge and pre-employment screening.
• DOT physical or DOT medical card required (or within grace period).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive service truck.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; ASE T4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Manage parts inventory and use company-provided tools and TRAIT app for RO documentation.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies; complete all paperwork timely.
