Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading on-site mobile fleet maintenance provider, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician I. You will perform PM and DOT inspections, execute light repairs, and support senior techs. Work is field-based with a company service truck, iOS documentation, and strict safety standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma, hand tools, and a valid DOT-related credential. ASE T8 certification is preferred. Weekly pay and benefits are highlighted in the role description.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess and supply required hand tools.
• DOT regulations compliance knowledge.
• DOT pre-employment background check and physical.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM inspections and DOT inspections on light to heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Carry out minor repairs and diagnostics under supervision.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain service truck and equipment.
• Document work in RO system using company iOS device.
• Ensure safety compliance and follow DOT/OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with clients and obtain approvals for repairs.
