Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician I to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile field environment. You will work with a team to service light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, documenting work and parts used via TRAIT on an iOS device.

New hire bonus of $2,500 and Fridays pay are part of the package; valid DOT credentials and a driver’s license are required. Flexible remote option but must reside in the US and meet regional requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with DOT/FMCSA training preferred.
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical required.
• Valid driver's license and residence in the US are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PMs and light repairs in mobile/field settings.
• Manage parts inventory for service truck and reconcile periodically.
• Complete DOT forms and RO documentation promptly using company tools.
• Maintain safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
