Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to service light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting, with a focus on diagnostics and efficient problem resolution.

Responsibilities include documenting work on RO forms via TRAIT, managing parts on the service truck, and collaborating with customers to meet their service needs while adhering to safety regulations and company

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or higher with related field experience.
• 3 years' experience in related field (or 5 years with alternate qualifications).
• At least 3 years' experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own set of hand tools to perform duties.
• ASE certifications preferred or required within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Document work orders and upload photos using TRAIT on iOS devices.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and company service vehicle.
