Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group operates a New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA, seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with a focus on safety and patient experience. You will work within a collaborative team delivering high-quality imaging in a mobile setting.

The ideal candidate brings ARRT radiography and CT certifications, a radiology background with at least one year of experience, and a commitment to infection control and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients clearly using AIDET; ease patient anxiety.
