Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for its New Mobile CT Unit based in Augusta, GA. The role emphasizes safe imaging, patient comfort, and accurate documentation within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT radiography certification, CT credentials, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with a commitment to ALARA and patient-centered care in a fast-paced mobile setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiology experience
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (Radiography) and ARRT CT certifications, BLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards
• Maintain infection control and report equipment issues promptly
• Verify patient identity, prepare with clear explanations, and ensure comfort and safety
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS and manage study finalization and transfers
