Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group's New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience.

You will perform CT procedures per department guidelines, maintain ALARA, document results, and support patient safety during exams.

ARRT CT certification and radiology experience preferred; competitive hourly pay, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRTR (Radiography).
• ARRT CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, minimizing dose (ALARA).
• Clean/disinfect rooms and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and support crashes/lifesaving equipment as needed.
• Maintain workflow, restock, and comply with regulatory requirements.
