Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group's New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and provide a supportive patient experience. You will work on a mobile unit delivering imaging services in a collaborative healthcare team across Wellstar facilities.

The role requires minimum 1 year radiology experience, ARRT credentials, and BLS. Join us to contribute to patient care with compassion and professionalism in a dynamic mobile setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRTR (Radiography); ARRT CT; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and confirm two patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and postcare using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
