Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT Radiography and ARRT CT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and report emergencies; restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflow to meet timeframes and support department operations.
