Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Prepare and administer contrast per protocol.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Support department operations and keep areas stocked.
